DAY 1 Dinner
Last night I had some more juice, this time with cabbage, tomato, zucchini (never done that before but it worked), carrots, romaine, and apple. Not the most delicious juice I’ve ever made but it was fine. I also ate:
- Some vegetable soup from whole foods (vegan) and I added some chopped collard greens while it was heating up. Added a nice crunch to the soup.
- Mixed baby greens with lemon juice and olive oil.
- Frozen Mixed Berries.
Doesn’t seem like a lot but I actually woke up feeling full in the morning. It really seems that the high amount of nutrients in the juices is helping me to feel full. The digestive system actually recognizes when there are a ton of nutrients in the system and it helps to turn off hunger, aside from simply responding to the volume of food in your stomach.
- Juice with 10 Carrots, 1 Golden Beet and Beet Greens, 2 Apples, and 1/2 Head of Cabbage (I only drank half of this, and I’ll have the other half for a mid-morning snack).
- 1 Guava.
- 1 Banana, mashed with 3 chopped Dates and cinnamon.
Still doing fine, energy level is normal, and I haven’t been feeling hungrier than normal. So far so good.
