Hey everyone, I’m in DC for the week, and although I won’t really be able to try out any recipes this week, I’ll be checking out some restaurants here with good plant-based options. First on the list was Science Club, a bar/restaurant that I’d heard good things about. While there are seats available, it’s a first-come, first serve kind of place where you have to wait around a little to grab a table, but it wasn’t too hard for us to find a nice table in the corner. We ordered the hummus platter, the quinoa tabouli, and the portabello mushroom stuffed with quinoa. All were pretty delicious and well-seasoned, but nothing all that special. I asked them to make all of them without oil but I doubt they did, especially the hummus. Here are some photos from the meal – definitely worth a try if you’re in the DC area.
