As I was perusing through Netflix, I decided to take a look at the movie “Food Matters” one more time…but before I could click on it, I saw that there was another movie in the “similar titles to watch instantly” section called “The Engine 2 Kitchen Rescue” with Rip Esselstyn. With all the searching I do on the internet along with all the newsletters I’m signed up for, I’m suprised this one slipped right by me. It’s produced by the same guys who did “Forks Over Knives” so I figured I had to watch it, and let me tell you – it’s awesome, especially for some practical knowledge and run recipes. The movie reminded me of a show I used to watch on Food Network called “Food 911” (I think that’s the one) where the guy comes into your house and helps you prepare a delivious home-cooked meal. Except this time around, there’s no fattening oil, disease-causing flesh, or disgusting dairy. I definitely recommend watching it if you’re confused as to what kind of plant-based healthy meals to make at home. Also worth looking at are the ratings and comments for the movie – there are certainly some angry anti-vegans out there!
